I think I might have the cure for what I am looking for. But, so far I have not got a backing. No scientific library is ready to accept my research. And no journal publication is ready to publish my work as yet. I have mailed a few important personalities in the town. And I remain hopeful. There is only one test that I have to do.

Project progress
There might be a few people who are interested in my proposal. But, before I can say with certainty that the drug I am working on will show positive results, I need to process one last test. I need to see if what happened to my sister’s memories was a twist of the fate or a trick of the long dead magician who erected the Rainbow House known to turn people’s mind black and white.

Of course, it is a shame that, as a scientist, I am believing in this utter non-sense of the circus. But for years, the color tent attracted numerous people who lost their memories to it. Or, that is how the tale is posed. As people have recognized this imminent danger, only a handful go into the Rainbow House.

As of now, I am unable to get any subjects for my research work. Nobody is willing to go into that stupid house. But, it is my life mission to find out what happened to my sister. The last I heard from her was that she was going to visit this legendary circus. Since then, I haven’t heard from her.

My hypothesis stays the same as it was a few years back. My sister went to the mad Rainbow House and lost herself after that.

My progress is limited. I cannot keep the interested parties waiting. No potential candidates have responded to my advertisement. So, I might have to check this place myself. I am hopeful that I will escape unhurt. Magic isn’t true. A thing that escapes the explanation of science is unreal and a simple conception of the disturbed mind. This keeps me at peace.

A poor built man with a slightly hunched back walks amid a cheerful crowd. Everyone seems to have a drink or candy in their hand, a testament to the fact that they are enjoying their time in the circus season. The sun spits its heat on the vast expanse of the land that is rarely shaded by trees. Only tents of various colors stand elegantly and proudly.

Such a landscape doesn’t, in the least bit, sip the enthusiasm of the visitors. In fact, the bright hues add to their cheerfulness, as they amaze them wholly. Each tent is a bright shade. Some exhibit a bright blue while others exhibit a bright orange skin. There is also a purple, and a shocking pink tent. All colors complement one another. Only one at the center of the entertainment park is painted pure white with no trace of color or dirt.
